How Add Watermark works

1.Upload one PDF (up to 50 MB).
2.Type the watermark text, choose opacity and angle, and optionally limit it to certain pages.
3.Process and download the watermarked PDF.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored by PDFNova, and never shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them. The only exception is if a future tool is explicitly labelled as server-processed — this tool is not one of those.

Frequently asked questions

Is a watermark the same as redaction?

No. A watermark sits on top of content but does not remove it. For permanent removal, true redaction is needed — that tool is still pending, because painting over text would leave it extractable.

Can I watermark only the first page?

Yes. Enter 1 in the pages field.
