How Edit Metadata works
- 1.Upload one PDF (up to 50 MB).
- 2.Fill in the properties you want to set; leave a field empty to clear it.
- 3.Process and download the updated PDF.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored by PDFNova, and never shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them. The only exception is if a future tool is explicitly labelled as server-processed — this tool is not one of those.
Frequently asked questions
Does this change the document content?
No. Only the document properties (title, author, subject, keywords) change. Pages are untouched.
Can I see the current metadata first?
This version does not display existing values before processing — it writes exactly what you enter. A display-first version is a planned improvement.
