Accepted: PDF files (.pdf) · Max 50 MB per file · Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
Settings
No settings. This tool only changes PDFs that actually contain form fields. If your PDF has no form fields, processing stops with a clear message instead of producing a fake result.
How Flatten PDF works
- 1.Upload a PDF with fillable form fields (up to 50 MB).
- 2.Process — field values become part of the page content.
- 3.Download the flattened PDF.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored by PDFNova, and never shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them. The only exception is if a future tool is explicitly labelled as server-processed — this tool is not one of those.
Frequently asked questions
What does flattening actually do?
It renders each field's current value onto the page and removes the editable field, so the value can no longer be changed as a form field.
My PDF has no form fields — what happens?
Processing stops with a message saying so. Flattening a PDF without fields would change nothing, so no file is produced.
